Mission URSA began with a simple question: why does support so often begin only after someone is already struggling?

Most challenges do not arrive overnight. They build quietly. Stress accumulates. Sleep changes. Connection fades. The signs are often there long before anyone would call it a crisis.

We believe veteran wellbeing deserves more than a reactive response.

Life after service looks different for every veteran. New careers. New families. New purposes. New challenges. Every journey is different, yet support often arrives only after things have already gone wrong.

Mission URSA was created to help strengthen the connections that support wellbeing long before visible crisis appears. We work alongside veteran-serving organizations, supporting efforts that help veterans stay engaged, stay connected, and continue moving forward.

We believe support is strongest when organizations have more ways to stay connected between moments of need. More visibility. More engagement. More opportunities to respond before small challenges become larger ones.
